Friday night I was in an art show at the West 7th Street Laundromat in Downtown, Los Angeles. It was a really special night for a lot of reasons – but what I loved the most was seeing a space typically free of “art” transformed into somewhere where people from all over and from all different backgrounds came together for a night of music, art, and when needed or wanted, good old fashioned laundry.
